Action Group Events

See what the Action Group have done and what we have got planned.....

8pm Monday April 21st - Action Group Meeting - Great Hockham Village Hall

The meeting will bring everyone up to date, explain why we believe the Forestry Commission withdrew their proposals, play the video and song (for those that haven't seen/heard them) and explain our plans for the future.

Sunday April 13th HAWITAGE VICTORY CELEBRATION on Hockham Village Green

To mark the Forestry Commission withdrawing their quarry and landfill proposals we were asked to 'Turn' the Hockham Stone. For those unfamiliar with this ceremony, the stone on Hockham Green is only turned to celebrate very important occasions, the last time being part of the Queens Golden Jubilee celebrations. During the turning we took the opportunity to place a Time capsule under the stone containing the No 10 E-Petition along with other relevant photos and documents, for posterity!
